Detailed Description
UKRBAGPACK LLC manufactures polyethylene liners for big bags with a thickness of 60 to 150 microns. The liner is an inner layer made of tubular PE film (HDPE/LDPE) that completely protects the container's contents from moisture, dust, and contamination. Using a liner is mandatory for hygroscopic materials: sugar, salt, chemical fertilizers, flour. We produce 4 types of designs: loose, gusseted (with side folds), form-fit (repeats the contours of the big bag), and with a suspended spout for automated loading. There is an option with a food-grade certificate and a heat-resistant type up to +80°C.
Design Variants
Standard loose liner
The classic option — a rectangular film bag placed inside the big bag. The cheapest and most common type.
Gusseted (with side folds)
Side folds allow the liner to fit more tightly against the walls of the big bag. Better volume utilization.
Form-fit
Repeats the shape of the container. Fixed to the loops of the big bag. Maximum efficiency — no excess material.
With suspended spout
The neck of the liner is attached to the filling spout of the big bag. Convenient for automated loading.
How to choose a liner: design and film thickness
The design depends on how the big bag is filled. Manual filling works fine with a loose or gusseted liner. If the bag is filled through a filling spout on an automated line, you need a liner with a hanging neck that attaches to the spout and stays in place under product flow. Form-fit liners are chosen when full container volume matters: they follow the bag's geometry and fix to the lifting loops.

When a liner is mandatory
Woven polypropylene fabric lets air and moisture through, so for hygroscopic materials the container alone is not sufficient protection. Sugar and salt cake into a solid block, mineral fertilizers lose flowability and chemical properties, flour absorbs odors. A polyethylene liner creates an airtight barrier and solves these problems for 3–7% of the big bag's cost.
The second typical task is fine powders (starch, cement, pigments) that sift through fabric and seams. A liner completely stops dusting during transport and handling.
Food-grade and heat-resistant options
For the food industry we produce liners from virgin polyethylene with a hygiene certificate — suitable for direct contact with sugar, salt, flour, and grains. For products packed hot (e.g. after drying), a heat-resistant type withstands up to +80°C without deformation or sticking.
