Why four loops became the standard
With a four-corner pickup the body keeps its shape, the cargo does not tilt and the seams work evenly — which is why global FIBC practice moves all heavy tonnage (from 1000 kg) in 4-loop bags. The operator never turns the container to reach the loops: they are accessible from any side, roughly halving truck loading time compared with 2-loop bags.

How much does a 4-loop big bag hold?
Standard models — 1000–1500 kg, up to 2000 kg to order. A 5:1 safety factor means a 1000 kg bag only fails at around 5000 kg of load.
How do I rig a 4-loop bag correctly?
Pick up by all four loops: by crane — via a spreader beam or a hook with four slings; by forklift — two loops per tine. Lifting by one or two loops out of four overloads the seams and is prohibited.
Why is a 4-loop bag better than a 2-loop one?
Higher load capacity (from 1000 kg), stable crane lifting and loop access from any side. The 2-loop bag only wins on price — it is appropriate up to 750 kg with forklift handling.
Single-trip or multi-trip — which to choose?
For shipping products to customers SF 5:1 (single-trip) is enough. If the packaging circulates in your own logistics, take SF 6:1 — it is rated for 2–3 full cycles with inspection between runs.
