Lamination or Liner: Which to Choose
Laminated fabric suits a short logistics cycle (plant → warehouse → field within one season): it protects from dust and brief moisture at no extra cost. A polyethylene liner is needed for long-term storage and humid climates — it fully seals the contents. For ammonium nitrate we recommend both layers at once: it insures against caking even in winter storage.
Storing Fertilizers in Big Bags
Stack fertilizer big bags no more than two tiers high: granules settle more than grain, and the upper tier can deform the lower one. Outdoor sites require UV-stabilized fabric and a skirt. Store ammonium nitrate away from fuels and heat sources — a safety requirement, not just product care.

A fertilizer big bag costs from UAH 200/pc; lamination and a liner add 10–25% to the base price but save far more on written-off caked product. Minimum batch — 50 units, standard items ship within 1 business day.

Can fertilizers be stored in big bags outdoors in winter?
Yes, with a liner, a skirt and UV-stabilized fabric. Place the containers on pallets, no more than two tiers high, preferably under a canopy.
How many fertilizer big bags fit in a truck?
A standard 20-tonne truck takes 20–22 one-tonne big bags in a single tier. NPK and potassium at ~1 t/m³ density fill the trailer most efficiently.
Can a big bag be reused after fertilizers?
For fertilizers — yes, if it is an undamaged SF 6:1 model. Using packaging after agrochemicals for food or seeds is prohibited.
