2-loop big bags — economical packaging for 500–1000 kg

A 2-loop big bag has two wide lifting loops that slide onto forklift tines in a single move — no need to walk around the bag. Load capacity is 500–1000 kg. With fewer loops and seams it is cheaper than a 4-loop bag of the same fabric, which makes it the most popular choice for packing lines and in-house logistics.

Design: two loops that carry the body
The loops of a 2-loop bag are not just sewn on top — they run through the side seams or under the bottom, so the load spreads across the whole body. Fabric is 120–160 g/m² depending on the cargo; the top is open or skirted, the bottom solid or with a discharge spout.
Do not confuse 2-loop big bags with sling bags: a sling bag is a strap system for carrying palletised sacks, while a 2-loop big bag is a full flexible container for bulk materials.
When two loops are enough
Two loops fully cover scenarios where the bag is lifted by forklift or hoist: packing 500–750 kg batches, moving raw materials around the shop, loading trucks from the warehouse. It is the typical packaging for small grain lots, construction mixes, compound feed and polymer granules.
If your logistics involve regular crane lifting, a two-point pickup is less stable — for crane operations we recommend the 4-loop design: see the '2 vs 4 loops' comparison table on the 4-loop page.
Price
A 2-loop big bag costs from UAH 200/pc; thanks to the simpler cut and less hardware, a batch comes out 10–15% cheaper than 4-loop bags of the same fabric. Standard sizes ship from stock in 1 working day. Minimum order — 50 pcs; free delivery for orders over 5,000 pcs.
Typical Sizes

FAQ
How is a 2-loop big bag different from a sling bag?
A 2-loop big bag is a closed flexible container for bulk cargo (grain, mixes, granules). A sling bag is a strap harness for carrying a group of unit loads, such as 25–50 kg sacks. They are different products for different tasks.
How much does a 2-loop big bag hold?
Typically 500–1000 kg with a 5:1 safety factor — a strength margin of up to five times the rated load. For heavier tonnage use the 4-loop design.
Can a 2-loop bag be lifted by crane?
Occasionally — yes, by both loops via a spreader beam. But for regular crane operations the 4-loop scheme with a four-point pickup is more stable.
Why are 2-loop bags cheaper?
Fewer loops, seams and sewing operations with the same body fabric. On batches of 500+ pieces the difference versus 4-loop bags reaches 10–15% of the budget.
